Olaplex is BAE
If have ever sat in my chair as my client, or even have spent more that 15 minutes with me, you have probably heard me gushing over the most amazing product I have ever encountered on the market, Olaplex. What is Olaplex? Well, it's what Kim K. uses to keep her hair from falling out throughout the many (did I mention many) hair changes that she goes through. But it's more than that. Allow me to put my nerd hat on!
Olaplex is entirely non-toxic, free of silicone, sulfates, phthalates, DEA, peroxide, aldehydes, and gluten. It is also vegan and cruelty free. Olaplex rebuilds and restructures the hair strand to bring back curls after they’ve lost their shape.
Olaplex is a bond multiplier containing a single active ingredient, Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate. Olaplex works by finding single sulfur hydrogen bonds and cross linking them back together to form disulfide bonds before, during and after services. Disulfide bonds are broken via chemical, thermal, and mechanical processes.
We break the bonds in our hair by brushing it, using heat, and of course with chemical processes. Olaplex is the only patented product that rebuilds your hair from the inside out.
It's a 3 part system, No. 1 and No. 2 are used by salon professionals, and No.3 is formulated for at home use.
Olaplex = Your hair living it's best life. If I were you, I would head on over to Sephora.com and get yourself a bottle of Olaplex No 3. You can typically get from 4 to 6 treatments per bottle, depending on the length and thickness of your hair.
